Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented *Customer Service Representative* to support a high-volume, fast-paced business unit. This role is responsible for coordinating activities to deliver exceptional sales support, order management, and customer service. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for conversion based on performance.
Key Responsibilities * Manage customer purchase orders from entry through invoicing * Handle customer requests, inquiries, complaints, and forecasting entries * Analyze inventory levels and customer demand across the distribution network * Collaborate with customers to gather forecast data and maintain accurate systems (SAP) * Partner closely with Sales, Demand Planning, and Logistics teams to support customer needs * Maintain and update customer records and reporting * Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders * Coordinate with third-party warehouses and monitor shipments for accuracy and timeliness * Communicate shipment updates, delays, and delivery status to customers * Provide backup support to team members as needed * Perform in a high-volume, email-driven environment (limited phone interaction) Qualifications * *Bachelor's Degree required* (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related preferred) * 1-2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field (retail/restaurant experience considered) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word * Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Experience with SAP or Salesforce is a plus (training provided) Work Environment * Contract-to-hire with long-term career potential * Fast-paced, team-oriented environment * High volume of email communication with customers and internal partners *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
