Tharros is seekinga Senior Anti-Tamper Systems Engineer to perform programmatic and technical leadership in anti-tamper engineering for advanced complex systems supporting NAWCAD Cyber Warfare Division programs at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

The AT SE identifies, formulates, designs, and tests anti-tamper solutions, guiding the engineering development of protection measures for Critical Program Information across the NAVAIR platform set.



  • Perform programmatic and technical leadership roles identifying, formulating, designing, and testing anti-tamper solutions for DoD weapons systems
  • Guide the engineering development of modern complex systems employing anti-tamper methods, techniques, and systems engineering tools
  • Support Critical Program Information (CPI) identification and anti-tamper protection plan development across NAVAIR platforms
  • Conduct anti-tamper technique selection, implementation guidance, and AT validation event support
  • Integrate anti-tamper engineering with systems security engineering workflows and authorization processes
  • Conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance anti-tamper capabilities as appropriate
  • Provide technical guidance on DoD Anti-Tamper policy compliance across the CWD platform scope
  • Coordinate with program offices, security personnel, and engineering teams on AT protection posture
  • Active TS
  • Must apply for Anti-Tamper Certificate via the Navy AT Certification Holder within 90 days of performance start
  • 10 years of experience performing work related to systems engineering; at least 3 years of the 10 within the last 5 years
  • MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific disciplineALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: BS or BA in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific discipline plus 4 additional years of recent and relevant experience (total 14 years required)
  • 5 years of total experience directly related to anti-tamper methods, techniques, and systems in DoD applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise
