Role Purpose

The AMER Consulting Lead is accountable for building relationships and providing advice to C-Suite executives and Corporate Real Estate Executives regarding the products, services and platforms to achieve their vision and strategy. The role will focus on setting the strategic direction for Consulting in the AMER Region and on building the business through identification, development and conversion of opportunities. The role will work collaboratively across JLL business lines to solve for the strategy, design, selection, and implementation of the necessary solutions to deliver meaningful financial and operational objectives. The role will lead the AMER consulting team to attract, engage and retain top consulting talent. Reporting to the AMER Head of Portfolio Services, this role will be accountable for growing the AMER consulting business to a market leadership position and will represent Work Dynamics Consulting Business on the Work Dynamics AMER Board.

Location: Chicago or New York

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and execute an overall strategy to penetrate Work Dynamics Accounts and grow client base, revenue and profits across AMER
  • Maintain P&L ownership for Americas Consulting, including revenue generation, cost management, and margin optimization
  • Coordinate Go to Market strategy with regional Portfolio Services Industry Leads
  • Coordinate new business development activities across region driving a consultative selling strategy
  • Develop and manage key client relationships in region in collaboration with all JLL business lines and within Work Dynamics, Leasing Advisory and Capital Markets in region to drive OneJLL business growth
  • Partner closely with the Work Dynamics Portfolio Sales leaders and teams to unlock net new opportunities for business growth. Develop world-class ability to seed opportunities for expanded and long term client relationships and agreements
  • Develop regional talent / capabilities to address present and future regional market needs
  • Manage, coach and guide AMER consulting team (150+ FTE) through Cluster Leads to build a world-class consulting organization and deliver the best results for our clients
  • Develop / evolve the overall consulting offerings to address the changing needs and asks of clients including the impacts of Artificial Intelligence on both our clients' business and JLL 's business
  • Maintain abreast of technology, products and related CRE solutions within and outside the Real Estate industry to remain contemporary and credible
  • Work to identify other areas of opportunities for JLL products and services
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on high value bids and client deliverables

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic or management consulting
  • Superior analytical skills, including the ability to analyse financial statements, perform company valuations, scenario analysis, and develop creative and value-enhancing deal structures with a broad range of complexity
  • Experience with real estate, professional services, and/or business services
  • Proven track record of managing Consulting operations profitably by managing investments, utilization, and leveraging various consulting commercial models and arrangements
  • Ability to leverage relationships and attract talent globally
  • Experience in optimizing cost through right shoring of capabilities and talent
  • Strong executive presence with a history of presenting to senior leadership and boards of directors
  • Exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills

Estimated compensation for this position:

350,000.00 - 500,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
