What You Will Do: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to develop, test, and implement electrical components, equipment, and systems. The role involves participating in requirements analysis, design, integration, and verification processes, as well as supporting technical reviews and root cause analysis. The Electrical Engineer works within defined processes and collaborates with project leaders, program managers, and external customers. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: BSEE or similar STEM technical degree Min 5 years of experience in analog power design engineering, or Master's degree and 3 years of exp that includes: High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design and experience with multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters. High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology What Sets You Apart: Current active Secret clearance (one will be given to the contractor if not currently held) Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories Circuit Design expertise Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis) Feedback / Control systems experience Power System architecture and grounding Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Ability to travel as needed After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
