PURPOSE


Provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle to ensure consistent policy application, compliance, and a positive employee experience. Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR processes.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partner with TA to support requisition intake, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding
  • Advise managers on policy, investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution
  • Facilitate performance-management cycles, goal setting, development plans, and calibration
  • Coordinate compensation and benefits changes in partnership with Centers of Excellence
  • Deliver basic HR training on processes and systems to managers and staff
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, responding to employment-related inquiries and escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and reinforce Calumet Values.
  • Perform routine HR tasks supporting payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, performance management, and talent planning programs.
  • Coordinate return-to-work and medical case management processes, including related documentation.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or HR
  • 2+ years of generalist HR experience
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
