JOB DETAILS

The Laboratory Technician - Machinist is responsible for Quality Control, Technical Service and R&B support of existing products and new products to support the needs of customers. Requires knowledge of CNC machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
  • Ensure that product documentation and paperwork are completed properly and clearly.
  • Take precise measurements of samples.
  • Machine composite and resin specimens.
  • Lay up of composite materials.
  • Operate tile saw, drill press, CNC/surface grinder machine, band saw.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and assignments to maintain a clean and safe working environment in the Process areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Assist with team activities, attend monthly safety meetings and any other scheduled meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    High School (required)
    Experience
    1 - 2 years: Carbon Fiber Composites (preferred)
    1 - 2 years: Computer controlled mechanical cutting equipment (CNC) (preferred)
