The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking an Inspector - FAI Support to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.

The key responsibilities of this Position include, but are not limited to:



  • Create ballooned (Bubble) drawings from engineering drawings
  • Identify and label drawing characteristics (dimensions, notes, tolerances)
  • Basic understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) concepts and documentation
  • Familiarity with SAE AS9102 requirements (preferred, not required)
  • Support preparation of FAI reports (Forms 1, 2, and 3) with guidance
  • Perform detailed and accurate work when documenting attribute and variable characteristics
  • Communicate with Engineering and Quality teams to clarify drawing requirements

The Person

  • High school diploma and Two years of quality inspector experience
  • Basic understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) concepts and documentation
  • Familiarity with SAE AS9102 requirements (preferred, not required)
