Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company! The primary function of the Intern is to assist and support specific departments to increase your knowledge and skill set. Depending on the department, you will be responsible for conducting research, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets, and assisting with clerical duties. You will also be asked to work on special projects and tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Front desk duties of answering the administrative office phone line and greeting guests. Sort and distribute incoming mail and drop off outgoing mail/FedEx. Office supply and business card orders. Assist departments with projects and tasks; act as support if a need arises. Enter and review data into spreadsheets.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work and manage time effectively. Self-starter, able to work independently. Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Core Competencies: Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time. Will occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly working in an office environment.

Required Cognitive Skills

  • Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to receive and analyze information.
  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative.
