Department Overview

The work performed by the Corporate Security Department (CSD) is key to the company's success in protecting employees, the contract workforce, the public, and the company's physical assets, including several which are critical to the nation's power grid infrastructure. CSD provides a variety of opportunities, including involvement in developing,communicating,and implementing processes and tools relating to investigations, formal communications with company officers, personnel development, and coordination of the company's physical security efforts. Importance is placed on developing close partnerships with other Functional Organizations and law enforcement, to ensure quick response andappropriate communicationof issues and mitigation plans.

Position Summary

The Protective OperationsSpecialistwill serveas the operational coordination hub forhightempo principal support program. This role owns day-to-day continuity across administrativelogistics, principal movement visibility, intelligence routing to field teams, documentation quality control (DARs and operational logs), eventlogisticssupport, and travel coordination.Additionally, you will partner closely withexecutive assistants and internal security operations partners (including Security Control Center and Threat Intelligence functions) tomaintainoperational continuity, responsiveness, and audit-ready reporting.

The role is hybrid working from your remote office and in-person based on business needs or department requirements. Furthermore, this role is coordination-intensive and may require flexibility aligned to event periods, travel planning cycles, and continuity needs supporting 24/7 coverage models.

JobResponsibilities

  • Administrative Logistics & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate administrativelogistics, including scheduling support, liaison with executive assistants, and alignment with principallogisticsand team-level activities.

  • Principal Movement Visibility & Operational Continuity: Monitor daily principal movements and maintain continuity of operational awareness for field teams.Disseminate relevant updates from Security Control Center and Threat Intelligence partners to close-support field teams to ensure continuity of operations.

  • Documentation Ownership (DARs, Movement Logs, Vehicle Logs, Time Tracking): Produce, coordinate, and quality-control operational documentation including DailyActivity Reports (DARs), movement logs, vehicle logs, and time tracking records. Audit documentation for completeness and accuracy.

  • Event Logistics Support (Board / Off-sites / Officers & Directors / Special Events): Support eventlogisticsincluding board meetings, executive off-sites, and Officers & Directors meetings,assistingwith scheduling and resource tracking. AssistEvent coordinator function with scheduling and resource tracking as needed.

  • Operational Check-ins, Field Support & Responsiveness Audits: Conduct proactive check-ins and audits with field teams to ensure effective operations and support, including routine text-based responsiveness audits where applicable.

  • Scheduling, Rotations & Coverage Continuity: Review advance/forward-looking work reports to build effective scheduling and operational continuity. Build and manage weekly schedules and rotations to support 24/7 coverage and surge capacity.

  • Travel Planning Support:Participatein planning and coordination of principal and family travel (business orpersonnel), providinglogisticsand safety recommendations.

  • Special Projects / Research / Presentations: Complete staff assignments, research projects, and presentations to support operational readiness.

  • Operates with autonomy and sound judgment to prioritize competing demands andmaintaincontinuity across shifting schedules, movements, and event requirements.

  • Owns quality control for operational reporting artifacts (DARs/logs/timekeeping) and drives follow-up to closure; escalates recurring systemic gaps through leadership channels.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Protection Manager and Senior Director.

  • Builds workable weekly schedules/rotations and adapts quickly to schedule changes while sustaining 24/7 coverage needs. Tracks event resources and planning deliverables to reduce last-minute friction.

Continuous Improvement / Analytical & Technical Acumen

  • Identifiesrecurring coordination or reporting friction and proposes process improvements. Produces clear presentations.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 8years'experience in operations coordination, scheduling/logistics, program support, or comparable work in ademanding environment

Desired:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-accuracy documentation and reporting processes (logs, tracking, auditing, timeliness).

  • Ability tomaintainstrict confidentiality and handle sensitive operational information.

  • Experience supporting complex travel planning and high-visibility events (logistics, schedules, resource tracking).

  • Familiarity with Security Control Center and/or Threat Intelligence workflows and how to route actionable updates to operational teams.

  • Strongproficiencywith reporting hygiene, data cleanup, and presentation development.

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum and midpoint listed below. Thefinal decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Bay Area Min: $118,000.00

Bay Area Mid: $153,000.00

Bay Area Max: $188,000.00
