Founded in 1986, Precision Concrete operates on a diverse set of projects throughout the construction industry. Projects cover market sectors such as retail, healthcare, entertainment, institutional, airport, heavy industrial and multifamily.


Position Summary


Provide coordination and quality control for assigned projects and assist in developing new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area. Assist Project Manager in ensuring compliance with company polices and procedures and executing work in accordance with plans and specifications.


Essential Job Functions


Duties include, but will not be limited to



  • Assist in monitoring construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent in conjunction with General Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Assist in establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring all submittals and shop drawings.
  • Assist in project buyout in accordance with corporate purchasing procedures.
  • Assist in processing and reviewing all changes, requests for information and other applicable correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing change order requests and monitoring conversion to contract change orders and/or contract amendments.
  • Assist in performing frequent job costing analysis, cost projections and cost reports.
  • Assist in preparing short term "look ahead "schedules in conjunction with General Superintendent and Superintendent.
  • Assist in monitoring project safety in conjunction with jobsite Superintendent.
  • Establish and maintain good communication with Client.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings.
  • Assist in preparing monthly requisitions, tracks same and monitors payments with accounting personnel
  • Advises Project Manager frequently of project progress and of any concerns or issues.
  • Develop and maintain project files and record documents.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by project manager.


Job Requirements



  • Educational requirements include: 4-year technical or business administration degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of successful experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management required
  • Must be able to travel regionally.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Personal maturity is an important attribute.
  • Strong communication skills. understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities; capable of assisting in making decisions and recommendations that can greatly impact corporate relationship with Client as well as profitability of projects, which are managed.
  • Must be interested in becoming part of a team and not just a "9 to 5 person
