Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional in a healthcare location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and support daily operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $21.88 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, answering calls, and supporting security-related communications for the location.
  • Monitor radio, phone, and alarm activity, dispatch appropriate personnel to routine and urgent incidents, and relay updates in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service calls, and critical events in dispatch logs and reports, maintaining accurate records of security-related activity throughout the shift.
  • Support emergency response activities by coordinating communications with onsite personnel, management, and/or first responders based on established site protocols.
  • Observe camera feeds and other reporting systems, help to identify unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to onsite teams for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
