The opportunity

The Regional Account Manager of University Partnerships (UP), reporting to the Senior Director of University Partnerships, provides general oversight to all community college and military-related activities, initiates strategies for growing the transfer articulation and military programs and undertakes targeted research and development. This position manages all current relationships with community colleges, and organizations serving community college transfer students, military branches, veteran service organizations, and military stakeholders. Additionally, you may seek out opportunities to establish new partnerships to assist SNHU in becoming a top choice for community college and military students.

The Regional Account Manager of University Partnerships will travel (50-75%) which can include overnight travel (the amount of which is dependent on assigned region). Some weekend work/travel is required. The Regional Account Manager of University Partnerships must live within a drivable distance to a major airport to ease in travel.

All candidates must reside in the Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina area based on specific partnership work.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with college and military partners to deepen your understanding of their needs, decision-making and structure to uncover meaningful strategies that unlock greater results.
  • Ensure SNHU has adequate representation at all identified community colleges, military installations and additional events.
  • Promote SNHU Global Campus educational and partnership programs to partner students, community college alumni, community college transfer advisors, affiliated staff and industry partners. Be the primary daily contact for partner and build a network of champions across your partners by growing your role as a trusted advisor, anticipating needs and challenges while acting quickly to address them.
  • Establish a regular and organized schedule of engagement with partners to understand their needs and shape demand for SNHU products and pathways.
  • Travel to community colleges, military installations and other affiliated events for the purpose of recruiting students and engaging partners, ESOs, and other key influencers in the military community for seamless transfer to SNHU Global Campus educational programs.
  • Develop marketing engagement plans that use internal partner and SNHU channels to ensure well performed communication of SNHU offering to the partner's learners.
  • Deliver presentations to community college Administration, Faculty, Staff, students and additional audiences in varying verticals as needed, both remote and in person.
  • Build strategic territory outreach plans to recruit community college and affiliated populations including community college students, alumni, staff, employees, and immediate family members of community college and industry related partners.
  • Develop deep partnerships and pipeline to increase SNHU's reach and educational impact within organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers including community college leadership, faculty, advisors, military affiliated students, senior leaders, base education staff, partner veteran service organizations, military spouse organizations and state military leaders.
  • Serve as a point of contact within assigned territory with community college leaders, transfer center counselors and other community college, military partners for the purpose of fostering awareness of SNHU programs and offerings.
  • Forecast and achieve shared growth targets. Conduct ongoing and annual analysis of partnership by gathering and analyzing data, metrics, analytics, and other relevant partner information to inform current future opportunities.
  • Coordinate preliminary transfer credit evaluations for either the undergraduate or graduate program. Ensure that the students' goals and the University's mission are compatible.
  • Refer enrollment inquiries to admissions staff, including contact and introducing potential students to Global Campus programs and electronic resources.
  • Engage with members of the UP-Partnership team and other partnership units to explore ideas, use best practices, and contribute to a Community of Practice around partnerships.
  • Work with SNHU stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate transfer pathways by guiding the transfer articulation program manager through solution driven methods. * Provide input on planning, budget and annual outreach strategies.
  • Ability to travel (50-75%) upon request as business needs dictate.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Years of relevant or specific experience: 5 years of experience in strategic relations, community outreach, and/or government relations. 4 years of experience in business development. Experience developing partnerships in education (K-12, higher education), healthcare, business and technology industries within the region.
  • Academic Degree(s) and/ areas of study: Bachelor's degree

Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable: Yes X No

  • Professional Certification(s): N/A
  • Experience producing measurable results for Partners, delivering Higher Ed solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proficiency managing all aspects of Salesforce CRM related accountabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Prior experience as a leader or manager of community college outreach representative for an institute of higher learning.
  • Supervisory, leadership or managerial experience in higher education

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $77,794.00 - $124,491.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $85,961.00 - $116,299.00.
