What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter issues.
• Monitor access points and respond to access control alarms and/or CCTV activity as assigned, assisting with visitor direction, authorized entry processes, and policy reminders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership, local emergency services, and/or internal response teams as needed.
• Complete detailed incident documentation and daily activity reports, communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives, and support security-related operations such as escorts, lost and found handling, and de-escalation support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a guard card.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
