Job Summary

Conduct inspections of assigned campus buildings to determine level of quality of custodial services provided. Report on results. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: custodial staff and building services management. This position typically will advise and counsel: custodial staff and building services management. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Inspect the condition of occupied and common areas within buildings in accordance with quality performance standards as defined by quality assurance program.

Job Duty 2 -
Document inspection results and summarize inspection data.

Job Duty 3 -
Prepare charts, graphs and reports regarding housekeeping quality. Communicate the results to Building Services management and supervisory personnel.

Job Duty 4 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Other Required Qualifications
Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions. Position may be exposed to difficult weather conditions, fumes, dust/sawdust, hot surfaces, noise, rotating machinery, inadequate or poor quality lighting and live electrical parts or wiring. The job typically requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, or standing for long periods of time.

Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to create work orders for immediate action items using a web based CMM system.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans to identify inspection areas and document housekeeping quality.
  • Ability to use an iPad and the CMM database to record inspection scores and generate work orders for any required corrective actions.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires knowledge of custodial service standards and expectation and skills in organizing and conducting inspections of service delivery. Use of office related computer applications is also required.

Salary Range: $33,282.00 - $43,938.00
