We are hiring an Executive Market Aligned Recruiter in GETA who will enable and drive our approach to hire senior critical roles and deepen our knowledge of the competitive landscape for the best talent in the market via both market research and talent engagement. This individual is well-connected into the external ecosystem and comfortable driving and owning the external sourcing strategy for senior level talent within Microsoft. This opportunity will allow you to be innovative in your approach to map and connect with the external marketplace and develop sourcing strategies to target and assess top executive talent for today tomorrow.

Responsibilities
  • You will lead thedevelopment and orchestrationof a short- and long-term hiring plan for complex organizations, areas, or talent poolsacrossMS Commercial and Corporate Functions.

  • You will partnercloselywith executives, HR, andrecruitingcolleaguestoidentifycurrent and future executivetalentneeds,diagnosetalent gaps, andadvise onmarket availability to ensure the right hire is made at the right time.

  • You will analyze external market data using industry and marketexpertiseto informsourcingstrategies and executive talent acquisition initiatives.

  • You will create andmaintainhighquality external talent maps, develop competitive intelligence strategies, and educate stakeholders on market realities to support differentiated sourcing approaches.

  • You will engage candidates early in the process andmaintainaccuratecandidate qualifications, status, and market insights withinappropriate systems, partnering with colleagues to support screeningand assessmentactivities.

  • You will present businesses with talent and market insights, applying deep consultativeexpertiseto shape hiring strategies aligned to the needs of the business group, division, region, or subsidiary.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

    • OR equivalent experience.

Additionalor preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

    • ORMaster's DegreeAND 8+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+years experiencein directly sourcing, mapping, or recruiting research of executive level talent ingo-to-market and corporate functionsfor a global organization.

  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft productivity tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and/or recruiting CRM systems.

  • Knowledge of competitivelandscapein the US. Global market knowledge is a plus

  • Process/systemsmanagement, interpersonal, organizational, written, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Advanced communications skills and relationship management capabilities.

  • Expertisein the following areas: Strategic Insight, Influencing for Impact, Judgment, Cross Boundary Collaboration, Negotiation, and Systems Thinking

  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and candidate tracking systems.

Talent Acquisition IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
