The Remote Operations Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of analysts monitoring and optimizing rod pump wells. You will be responsible for leading the future direction of remote monitoring to ensure safe, optimal operation and uptime for maximum production. You will also be expected to be a vital resource and lead training classes for company personnel. The Remote Operations Team Lead is an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team and will need to work effectively in a collaborative environment with Production Engineers and Field Operations teams. *The title of this role will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience and level.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

• Develop and ensure execution of processes to ensure an accurate XSPOC system at all times
• Ensure high communications uptime through collaboration with field teams and clear processes
• Lead a team of remote XSPOC analysts to support the department mission by creating a clear vision of their mission
• Monitor rod pump well operation and suggest changes to maximize production/runtime
• Provide Rodstar and XSPOC support to Engineering/Field Operations staff as needed
• Lead training classes on rod pump optimization, Rodstar, XSPOC, and POCs/VSDs for company personnel
• Monitor and evaluate emerging industry trends in rod pump analysis software and equipment, actively promote adoption of relevant innovations, and implement best practices to optimize operational efficiency
• Organize acquisition integration of wells into XSPOC

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience with Rod Pump applications/design.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience with XSPOC, Rodstar, XDIAG, XBAL, and POCs/VSDs
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience with unconventional horizontal oil wells
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel to site
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Able to meet insurability standards in order to drive a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spotfire, PowerBI, SQL Server
• Experience with SCADA communications setup and repair
