Hours and Pay

• Pay Rate: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (flexibility in start/end times)
• Note: Hours may be heavier Monday through Thursday, with a shorter day on Friday, depending on project needs

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory synthesis to support new product development, cost reduction, and process optimization projects
• Conduct chemical analysis using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, rheology, and titrations
• Assist in determining reaction fundamentals, operating limits, and separation processes
• Construct and assemble laboratory equipment and setups, including work with tubing and compression fittings
• Document experimental results, collect data, and perform basic calculations and analysis
• Collaborate with lead researchers while also working independently on assigned tasks
• Participate in hazard reviews and maintain a strong awareness of lab safety practices
• Support laboratory operations and contribute to safe and efficient workflows

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• Experience in a chemical laboratory environment, including academic lab work or research projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with laboratory control systems and analytical instrumentation
