Quality Assurance System Specialist I - Data Managementin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: This role supports the GAC Personnel Qualification List (PQL), which defines the required skills, education, experience, and certifications for each job role. The position is responsible for reviewing and validating employee skills, certifications, and training to ensure compliance and support operational efficiency. Required Skills Strong attention to detail Ability to lead crossfunctional discussions on employee qualifications Solid data management skills Strong task prioritization and timemanagement abilities Special Notes This position DOES NOT require an A & P licensce This position DOES NOT require Blueprint/Specification knowledge This position DOES NOT require sustainability knowledge Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Entry-level. Position Purpose: In a team oriented environment, performs all tasks in area of responsibility in a timely and efficient manner to support Quality Management System Documentation and electronic systems development compliant with applicable regulatory requirements. Coordinates with functional organizations the documentation and implementation of specific business processes that support the Quality Management System. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Maintains documentation control systems required. in support of Quality Management System. Supports the validation of electronic systems that support the documented Quality Management System. Maintains QA documentation databases, creates reports, audits accuracy, identifies errors and notifies others. Maintains electronic system integrity and compliance to the documented Quality Management Systems. Supports regulatory Quality System audit activities through archival and retrieval of Quality System documentation and data supporting the Quality Management System. Assists in the preparation of management reports and presentations. Assists in the development of process maps, flow charts and systems procedures. Participates in continuous improvement projects related to quality systems initiatives. Additional Functions: Actively engaged and completes process improvement projects related to achieving improved quality or efficiency within their area of responsibility. . Actively supports corporate initiative in resource sustainability and business continuity. . Promotes, encourages and supports continuous improvement culture. . Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license may be used in combination with 4 years of related experience (in addition to the experience below) in lieu of the degree requirement. ASQ certification (CQE) and/or experience as a FAA recognized airworthiness designee highly preferred. A&P license preferred. Understands and is able to apply and communicate to others: blueprints/specifications, Federal Aviation Regulations, Quality Control System Requirements. Computer literate-capable of working within the various software applications utilized throughout the corporation. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
