Inspector Packer

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This includes the responsibilities and duties of the job and should cover all performance areas.

Guidelines:

Must follow and enforce Silgan Safety, Quality and GMP policies. Provide quality verification/ inspections of all manufacturing activities, management system. Packing, stacking assigned lines as required per procedures with effective and efficient acceptability. Rework as assigned. Perform label changes, screen wipes and ink replenishment. Record all hourly checks and machine downtime. Keep machines and production floor clean and safe. Working knowledge of quality. Complete understanding of all quality and pertinent procedures. Assist other shifts when needed. Understanding of stacking patterns, job folders and customer specifications. Report all unsafe acts or conditions. Follow all company procedures and policies.

Support activities and functions:

Provide input and assistance with general duties. Support other departments when needed.
