Cable Technician / Low Voltage Technician Location: Wilmington, NC Employment Type: Contract Schedule: Monday-Friday \| Day Shift Job Description We are seeking an experienced Cable Technician to support commercial lowvoltage projects in the Wilmington, NC area. This role is primarily handson and focused on cable pulling and termination. Candidates should be comfortable working independently on active job sites and handling physically demanding work. Responsibilities * Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 cabling * Terminate cables to patch panels, jacks, and faceplates * Drill through walls, ceilings, and floors to complete cable runs * Dress, label, and organize cabling per project standards * Read and follow drawings, layouts, and work instructions * Use hand and power tools safely and effectively * Maintain a clean and safe work environment Required Experience & Skills * 1-2+ years of handson cable technician experience * Strong experience with structured cabling, pulling, and terminating * Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical tasks * Experience working in commercial environments * Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications * Cable testing experience (Fluke or similar tools) * Ability to read blueprints or lowvoltage drawings * OSHA 10 certification Benefits (Eligibility Requirements Apply) * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage * 401(k) Retirement Plan with pretax and Roth posttax options * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for employee and dependents) * Short and longterm disability coverage * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Time Off / Leave (PTO, vacation, or sick leave) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
