About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are building the strategic intelligence and growth engine for Data 360.

The Office of the Chief Customer Officer partners directly with Salesforce's most strategic customers, executive leaders, and product teams to ensure that real-world enterprise insight drives both product innovation and market leadership.

As a Director/Sr Director of Product Management, you will operate at the intersection of product strategy, executive customer engagement, and industry thought leadership. This is not a traditional roadmap ownership role. Instead, you will apply deep product and industry expertise to influence the most important conversations shaping the future of enterprise data, analytics, and the agentic enterprise.

You will engage with senior executives at leading organizations, help guide complex product discussions in strategic opportunities, translate customer insight into actionable product intelligence, and contribute to shaping the industry narrative around modern data architecture. This role requires a rare combination of product depth, executive presence, and strategic thinking.

What You'll Do

  • Bring deep product expertise into priority strategic opportunities to ensure Data 360 is positioned within the broader context of enterprise data architecture, analytics modernization, and AI-driven transformation.

  • Elevate customer conversations from feature comparison to long-term data strategy and the evolution toward the agentic enterprise.

  • Guide solution architecture discussions where clarity around product capabilities, roadmap direction, and integration patterns are critical.

  • Support high-value demonstrations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts when product credibility can meaningfully influence outcomes.

  • Partner closely with sales and solution engineering teams while maintaining a product-first perspective.

Executive Customer Engagement

  • Establish trusted relationships with senior data, analytics, and technology leaders at strategic customer accounts.

  • Participate in executive-level discussions around enterprise data strategy, AI adoption, and modern analytics architecture.

  • Contribute to advisory boards, executive councils, and strategic roundtables with leading customers.

  • Facilitate peer exchanges and thought leadership conversations that help shape industry best practices.

Product Intelligence & Strategy Influence

  • Capture and synthesize structured customer insight from strategic engagements.

  • Translate executive feedback into actionable themes that inform product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and adoption improvements.

  • Participate in product summits and roadmap discussions to represent the perspective of enterprise customers.

  • Identify early adopter candidates for innovation programs and pilots.

  • Help maintain a closed feedback loop ensuring commitments to customers are tracked and communicated.

Industry & Market Leadership

  • Represent Salesforce Data Foundations in industry discussions around enterprise data strategy and the agentic enterprise.

  • Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, presentations, and industry events.

  • Participate in Salesforce events such as Dreamforce, World Tours, TDX, and Tableau Conference.

  • Engage with analysts and industry leaders to share customer-driven insights and innovation trends.

Directors in this organization help drive:

  • Strategic product positioning in complex enterprise engagements

  • Executive-level customer relationships

  • Structured customer insight that informs product strategy

  • Industry narratives around enterprise data and AI transformation

  • Advisory boards, executive forums, and community engagement

Who You Are

  • Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, or customer data architectures.

  • Experience discussing modern data architectures including lakehouse, real-time data platforms, and AI-driven systems.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or enterprise platform leadership.

  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into strategic business value.

Executive Engagement

  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage credibly with C-level leaders.

  • Comfortable facilitating discussions around enterprise transformation, not just product functionality.

  • Experience presenting to executive audiences in high-stakes environments.

Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to connect product capability with broader industry shifts such as AI adoption and the rise of agentic systems.

  • Skilled at identifying patterns across customer conversations and translating them into strategic insight.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-impact environments.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Proven ability to influence across product, sales, marketing, and executive leadership teams.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
