Job Summary:

This is position is a cross-functional role within compensation and aspects of HR Compliance and acts as the compensation administrator for the Company. This position would administer the Company's Compensation programs and policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Provides support to the Human Resources Department in the following areas:

    • Compensation

      • Administers and acts as the project manager for the Company's Salary, Bonus and Merit Cycles and partners with HR cross functional team members to execute under the guidance of Director, Human Resources.
      • Administrator of compensation systems working with vendors to direct and review updates within the system.
      • Participates and submits all compensation surveys and analyses data received.
      • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
      • Provides compensation data to Talent Acquisition and the Human Resources Business Partners for recommendations on new hire offers, transfers and promotions. Reviews internal equity data along with market data to make recommendations following Company practices under the review of management.
      • Works on all data reporting partnering cross functionally to collect data and submit.
      • Works with Finance and HR Management on Proxy data including but not limited to, CEO Pay Ratio and NEO Compensation.
      • Proactively keeps abreast of market trends in Compensation for recommendations to management team.
      • Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate course of action.


    • Equity Compensation

      • Partners with Finance to administer equity Compensation and educate the employee population.
      • Works with HRIS and Management to ensure all systems and feed files in relation to equity compensation and ESPP Stock program.
      • Adheres to SOX Compliance, ensuring all Controls are executed effectively.
      • Prepares quarterly equity recommendations and ensures they are uploaded accurately within the system.
      • Answers employee questions regarding equity compensation and/or ESPP. Directs to Finance and/or Payroll when appropriate.


    • Affirmative Action and Reporting

      • Creates all data for the submittal of the Affirmative Action Plan, Vets and EEO reporting.
      • Reviews employee data regarding Compensation within the HRIS and works with colleagues to ensure data in HRIS is up to date.
      • Runs a variety of reports for the department and Finance as requested.


    • Job Descriptions

      • Works with HRBP's to ensure that all jobs have an active and up to date job description.
      • Manages the job set up rules within the HRIS system in partnership with Manager, HR Technology.
      • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range using defined company guidelines and practices.
      • Reviews all job descriptions to ensure they align with company guidelines.
      • Works with Internal Audit on job descriptions as needed.


    • Administrative/Audit

      • Provides data requests for SOX audit data requests. Performs audit of HRIS employee data that impacts promotion calculations periodically.


    • Works on Cross Functional Human Resources projects bringing insight to our compensation practices.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.




Non-Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • May provide suggestions and recommendations regarding Compensation processes, procedures, and company policies.
  • Submits data for another required Company reporting as needed.

Knowledge and Other Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's with 2+ min years of compensation experience or other related data experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and the willingness to keep up to date on these laws.
  • Ability to maintain high ethical standards of confidentiality, integrity, and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize own work.
  • Adaptability and willingness to pitch in on a variety of work, based on Department need.
  • Excellent communication, spelling, and grammatical skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.


Other Characteristics:



  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of being innovative and dynamic in approach to work.
  • Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship.


Physical Requirements / Work Environment



  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carry objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.


Compensation:

At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $71,000 to $87,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs.

You also will be able to participate in a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to: health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401k company match, company paid life insurance and health and wellness benefits. The total compensation package for this position also includes other compensation elements such as stock equity awards, employee stock purchase programs and participation in our Company's discretionary annual bonus program.
