We work closely with regional support organizations, engineering, quality assurance, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) teams to investigate technical issues, improve system reliability, and support the continued development of autonomous haulage technology.

You will join a collaborative, technically focused team where practical troubleshooting, structured problem-solving, and knowledge sharing directly contribute to the performance of autonomous mining operations.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

As an AHS Vehicle Control Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of autonomous haulage operations worldwide. Working with regional support teams and global engineering partners, you will apply your technical expertise to resolve complex challenges, improve system performance, and support our customers' operational success.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Deliver timely, effective vehicle control technical support to regional AHS teams, helping resolve complex equipment and control system issues to minimize operational disruptions and maintain reliable autonomous haulage operations.
  2. Investigate autonomous haul truck incidents and system faults by analyzing diagnostic information, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions that improve equipment reliability, operational performance, and safety.
  3. Contribute to AHS technical projects and system improvements by supporting testing, troubleshooting, deployment activities, and engineering investigations that enhance product functionality, reliability, and long-term customer value.
  4. Manage and resolve technical support cases through established ticketing and escalation processes, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and consistent service delivery that meets customer and organizational expectations.
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting resources that strengthen knowledge sharing, improve diagnostic efficiency, and enable regional support teams to resolve issues more effectively and independently.
  6. Collaborate with global engineering, quality assurance, OEM, and regional support teams to investigate recurring technical issues, validate corrective actions, and translate field experience into product improvements that advance the reliability and performance of AHS technology.
