What work will you perform?


The Accounts Payable Supervisor provides guidance and assistance to team members to ensure vendor invoices and employee reimbursements are processed timely while adhering to audit controls. You will monitor productivity and ensure quality standards are met across the team. You will act as system administrator and be responsible for diagnosing system issues, interfacing with internal and external technical teams to resolve system issues. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will assist the manager with system upgrades, integrations and implementations.



Essential Responsibilities:



  • Monitor workflows and assist with production, provide feedback and coaching to increase production efficiency while ensuring adherence to financial audit controls
  • Act as system administrator for Palette and Concur
  • Perform sub ledger to ledger reconciliations
  • Assist internal departments to ensure proper account coding, correcting transactional errors in Palette, Epicor and SAP as required
  • Provide monthly reports to designated business units
  • Create virtual credit cards and reconcile to balance with GL
  • Manage timesheets, schedules and annual reviews



Required Minimum Experience and Education:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two years Accounts Payable experience



Preferred Experience and Education:



  • Associate's degree in finance or related field
  • One year of experience with financial system integrations and testing



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of standard accounting practice
  • Understanding of ISO audit controls
  • Knowledge of Epicor, Palette, Concur and/or Oracle


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with deadlines
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages
