Job Summary: As a Project Manager at Nuvotronics, a Polystrata organization, you will be responsible for executing small to medium projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes managing & prioritizing resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction, and incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and decision-making authority associated with the overarching project.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand full project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Execute comprehensive project plans and schedules, including detailed timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate and lead multiple project teams, ensuring that tasks are completed as planned.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to standards and best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project success.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, making adjustments as necessary.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree plus 5 years related experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, interface with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and vendors, and deal with employees and managers at all levels in manufacturing, engineering and other departments.
  • Must be able to work under project deadline pressures, and associated cost and schedule constraints.
  • Considerable knowledge in the planning and management of key aspects of engineering design activities and manufacturing process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a DOD Security clearance

Cubic Pay Range:

$104,000.00 - $128,000.00 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
