Position Summary:

Develops and creates databases and reports and maintains the Deltek Cobra application, and database systems that support mission-critical environmental cleanup, data management, and operational systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient solutions aligned with N3B and DOE requirements.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and maintains financial cost tools code to integrate between Deltek Cobra and Primavera P6.
  • Provide Cobra integrations from P6 for monthly baseline changes, including as-needed integrations to assist with Baseline Change Proposal (BCP) development.
  • Creates databases or reports using VBA to query SQL database.
  • Develop VBA code that produces Word and PowerPoint reports that creates tables, graphs, and other formats to provide data visualization through SQL data warehouse.
  • Develops SQL coding to manipulate and create data tables primarily for Cobra and P6 comparison reports.
  • Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.
  • Works closely with Project Controls Analysts and P6 schedulers for monthly reporting
  • Execute and develop as-needed monthly Data Quality Tests to ensure data integrity between Cobra and P6
  • Provides quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
  • Develops and implements moderate to complex applications on one or more platforms.

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field with at least nine (9) years of related experience..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years experience with EVMS and Deltek Cobra.
  • 10 years experience on a DOE project
  • 5 years experience with SQL Database coding.

Knowledge, Skill, & Ability:

  • Advanced knowledge of Deltek Cobra, VBA, HTML, SQL, .NET, Bootstrap, Foundation, Databases/connections and integration for web-based data driven applications.
  • Advanced understanding of P6, including an understanding of how scheduling/relationships work.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables/Power Pivots, slicers, and creating macros to develop reports.
  • Experience in user interface development using VBA through Microsoft Access.

  • Hearing requirements include ability to listen and respond appropriately to conversations in person, virtually, and over the phone.
  • Only electrical hazards and other minor potential hazards normally found in an office environment are anticipated.
