Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Commercial Patrol in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, communicate clearly, and document observations to help keep daily operations running smoothly. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
  • Conduct routine and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, alarms, medical situations, and property damage, and notify management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor access points and building activity, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with visitor directions, deliveries, and tenant service requests in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete security-related logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports with clear, timely details, and communicate observations and follow-up items during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
