We are seeking a Clinical Intern to join our team for the rest of the year. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of Waltham, MA.
Job Summary
The Clinical Intern assists the clinical workflow team, the customer relations team, and the Office of the CEO. This position is primarily an internally facing role and involves cross-departmental collaboration. It may involve interfacing with customers and vendor partners under supervision as needed to facilitate the business of the Office of the CEO. The position requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, and excellent communication skills. This role will perform data entry, and learn how to coordinate logistics, internal and customer-facing communications, and involves exposure to event planning.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn effective ways to collect and track data from the teams' efforts with customers and report on clinical team and customer relations activities, including customer touchpoints, using Salesforce, Microsoft OneNote, and other similar tools.
  • Prepare data and information for presentations and meetings.
  • Work with the clinical team to leverage the team's value with customers and internally.
  • Empower the marketing and product teams by working with the team to show the value in clinical workflows.
  • Learn about all products and services and gain an understanding of how Imprivata impacts healthcare.
  • Help prepare for tradeshows and conferences.
  • Help create, organize, and share reports and dashboards that reflect the teams' efforts.
  • Support the PC as the communications liaison to coordinate joint projects between the clinical team /Office of the CEO and other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Help prepare and distribute agendas, informational emails, and other communications to customers under the supervision of Office of the CEO staff to support major meetings, campaigns, and other initiatives.
  • Support coordinating logistics for Imprivata executives and invited customers for major conferences, events, and customer visits, including assisting with hotel accommodations, dining reservations, catering, and transportation options, and any other travel-related details.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate institution, pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Passion for learning and must be motivated and open minded.
  • Ability to function independently and be agile and an ability to work dynamically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel and a willingness to become proficient.
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to work with internal stakeholders and customers alike.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and processes and can adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a positive manner.

This position offers an hourly range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
