The Payor Audits & Denials Liaison is responsible for tracking and communicating progress of all audit and appeals activity to ensure deadlines are met. This position serves as the liaison between co-workers directly involved in the audit and appeal process. This position will also serve as a liaison between Mercy and payors/auditors.
Position Details:
Additional Job Description Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification. Experience: A minimum of five years related healthcare experience in revenue cycle, health information management, auditing or patient accounting experience preferred. Preferred Certifications: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) OTHER SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
