Position Summary:

The Senior Data Solutions Executive is a senior, presales-focused role within a team-selling model, responsible for enabling complex healthcare data solutions that support long-term growth and data licensing opportunities. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to translate complex healthcare data and research needs into compelling client-facing solutions during the presales lifecycle.

This position is approximately 80% presales / business development focused and does not carry direct sales closing or account management responsibilities. The role is recognized as an advanced seller and subject-matter expert with deep healthcare data fluency, strong market presence, and the ability to independently navigate highly complex opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Presales Data Solutioning & Team Selling



  • Serve as a senior presales partner across all data client accounts within a team-selling model
  • Translate complex healthcare data, research, and business questions into client-ready presales solutions, demonstrations, and proposals
  • Act as a trusted data and analytics subject-matter expert during client discussions, presentations, and solution design sessions
  • Support data licensing conversations by aligning client needs with available and emerging data assets


Business Development & Market Enablement



  • Pursue, cultivate, and expand strategic data opportunities that drive long-term organizational growth
  • Identify and define target audiences, use cases, and data-driven solutions that resonate with prospective customers
  • Conduct competitive analysis, track industry trends, and identify emerging markets, partnerships, and data-driven growth opportunities
  • Identify and help develop strategic alliances and partnerships to support new markets, data products, or distribution channels


Data Translation & Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Field and triage market and client questions into discrete analytical or data feasibility efforts
  • Partner with analytics, engineering, and data teams to assess solution feasibility, tradeoffs, and delivery approaches
  • Translate analytical outputs into clear, compelling client-facing insights and narratives
  • Work cross-functionally from opportunity identification through solution planning and delivery
  • Collaborate with teams across the U.S., India, and the Philippines as needed



Example Solution Areas



  • Leveraging healthcare claims data to analyze procedure volumes and costs across providers or facilities
  • Analyzing population health data across states or CBSAs to identify utilization trends
  • Leverage crosswalks and linkages across healthcare datasets (e.g., provider identifiers, organizational structures)



Experience



  • 10+ years of relevant experience (e.g., healthcare consulting, healthcare data, health services research, healthcare administration, or related fields)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or selling healthcare data, analytics, or research-driven solutions
  • Proven success operating in senior presales, solution consulting, or data-focused business development roles


Healthcare Data & Technical Fluency



  • Strong ability to translate complex healthcare data questions into actionable solution approaches
  • Familiarity with common healthcare datasets such as claims, encounter data, provider datasets, Medicare data, or similar
  • Comfort collaborating with analytics and engineering teams on technical concepts, feasibility, and solution design
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., SAS, Python, R, SQL, Databricks) preferred but not required


Skills



  • Advanced consultative selling and solutioning skills
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly autonomous, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize complex, emerging opportunities
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Recognized industry presence with a strong professional network preferred


Compensation and Location:

The overall salary range for this role is $104,900 - $199,065.

For candidates residing in:



  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $120,635 - 199,065.
  • All other locations the salary range is $104,900 - $173,100.
