Security Officer - Community Patrol Rover

As a Security Officer - Community Patrol Rover in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or dispatch, and respond to calls for service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office, warehouse, and/or campus areas, including building interiors, parking areas, and the perimeter, looking for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support access control processes by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and reporting suspicious or unusual activity according to post orders.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with accurate details, and communicate noteworthy observations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
