Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols, staying highly visible, and reporting security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork with site contacts. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license that meets AU Driver Policy requirements, backed by a caring culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including suspicious activity, disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations, and notify appropriate parties as needed.
  • Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials as required, and directing guests and deliveries to the appropriate destinations.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic logs, and provide clear reports and observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Handcuffs/pepper spray/baton is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
