As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access control points by screening visitors, verifying identification, managing sign-in processes, and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and/or local law enforcement as needed while maintaining control of assigned post duties.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol activity records, and communicate observed hazards and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
