Primary Function of Organizational Unit	The Division of Student Affairs comprises over 30 departments, each responsible for providing various student support, services, and educational programs accessible to the university community. With over 300 full-time employees and over 1200 student workers, the Division supports Pirate success through environments that enhance student development, engagement, belonging, well-being, and career readiness. Job Duties	Provide group fitness instruction during periods when student instructors are unavailable (e.g., academic breaks, summer) Fill schedule gaps in the student staffing pool to ensure consistent program delivery Offer continuity and experienced leadership to maintain high program quality Supplement instruction in specialized formats or time slots difficult to staff with student employees
Minimum Education/Experience	Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire Demonstrated competency in leading group exercise activities in land-based and aquatic environments NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) accredited and/or specialty (LesMills, Zumba, etc) group fitness certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation	None
