The Role: The Service Area Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) leads the HR function across an assigned service area in Portland, OR, aligning people strategy to operational and clinical priorities. This senior HR leader oversees HR service delivery, directs complex employee and labor relations issues, and serves as a highly trusted advisor to senior executives. The CHRO anticipates workforce implications of business changes, develops strategic HR actions, and drives enterprisealigned outcomes. This role fosters a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability, while mentoring and developing an HR team that delivers seamless support through shared services and Centers of Excellence. The CHRO plays a pivotal role in shaping organizational design, workforce planning, caregiver experience, culture transformation, and change leadership - all while advancing Providence values and strategic objectives across diverse healthcare environments. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
