Your Job

Koch Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our global cyber security team. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our enterprise by analyzing and investigating insider threat incidents, optimizing security tools, and continuously improving our security posture. You will work closely with teammates and customers to remediate insider threats while contributing to the growth and enhancement of our insider threat program. The candidate should be prepared for a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze, investigate, and escalate insider threat alerts and incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to remediate incidents and share knowledge to strengthen the insider threat program.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of tools and processes (e.g., alert tuning, preventative controls, playbook updates).
  • Evaluate the potential impact and likelihood of identified risks by analyzing patterns, behaviors, and historical data within the context of user activity.
  • Configure and optimize the Data Loss Prevention tool, ensuring rules and policies are implemented to meet evolving business needs.
  • Engage with tool vendors to stay updated on new releases, features, and support options; communicate feedback and enhancement requests; and regularly evaluate vendor performance.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Experience working with a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution.
  • Understanding of tools/technologies used for monitoring, detection, response, and prevention of insider threats.
  • Knowledge of insider threat/risk market trends.
