As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol buildings and grounds, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, assisting with medical response notifications, and coordinating with campus personnel and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for policy compliance, assist with visitor guidance, and support crowd management during classes, events, and peak traffic periods.
• Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership using required communication tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
