As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the store sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspected theft activity, medical calls, and alarms, and complete required notifications.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, greeting visitors, and helping to direct customers and deliveries per site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely documentation such as incident reports and patrol logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
