Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol guest areas and back-of-house spaces, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors at a hotel and resort location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, fire and/or life alarms, and requests for assistance from hotel staff.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; document observations, incidents, and shift activities in required reports and logs.
  • Assist with crowd management and traffic flow during peak check-in times, events, and group arrivals; support staff with lost and found intake and coordination as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
