As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will greet residents and guests, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and monitor entry points to help support a controlled, welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with residents, visitors, and your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control at residential entry points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor and/or vehicle entry logs.
• Monitor cameras, intercoms, and gate or door systems; report suspicious activity and/or policy concerns to Allied Universal supervision and the appropriate on-site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
