As an unarmed patrol officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol terminals and surrounding areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will assist travelers and staff with clear communication, document observations, and support on-site teams as needs arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, administrative areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, suspicious activity reports, and disturbances while following post orders.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and posted boundaries, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity through presence, observation, and timely communication.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, coordinate with on-site stakeholders as directed, and support orderly movement of people during peak traffic and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
