Center for Change (CFC)is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, and mental health communities, to represent our program offerings in Utah.

TheBusiness Development Outreach & Alumni Engagement Specialistis a fast-paced, results-oriented role responsible for expanding CFC's referral network as well as leading impactful, data-informed alumni engagement initiatives. This position focuses on high-volume clinical outreach, strategic territory planning, and relationship development with professionals and community stakeholders across assigned markets. The Outreach Specialist generates new leads and opportunities through key metrics and market trend analysis to achieve company, department, and individual goals.

As a key member of the Business Development team, the Outreach Specialist collaborates closely with the BD and Admissions Teams to integrate outreach activity, alumni insights, and performance data into B2B and B2C initiatives that increase visibility, deepen community relationships, and support consistent referral flow.

A core component of this role is the intentional development of our eating disorder referral network, including the alumni community. The BD Outreach & Alumni Specialist oversees the full alumni engagement lifecycle, including alumni communication, data tracking, resource sharing, social media group stewardship, and coordination of alumni events to strengthen long-term connection, enhance patient experience and satisfaction, and support continued recovery.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Implement philosophy, policies, procedures, systems, and strategic goals set forth by senior leadership and ensure alignment across outreach activities.
  • Maximize eating disorder referrals by developing new business, strengthening existing relationships, and strategically re-engaging past or lapsed accounts to recover and grow referral activity in alignment with business development goals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to referral partners, community stakeholders, and alumni to uphold high satisfaction and strengthen CFC's reputation.
  • Develop, sustain, and grow a robust referral network by identifying high-value accounts, generating new business, and strengthening relationships across all segments (eating disorder and mental health programs, EAPs, medical providers, clinicians, RDs, hospitals, schools, agencies, counties, etc.).
  • Meet or exceed weekly outreach KPIs by completing a designated number of qualified business development contacts-including new prospects, re-engaged accounts, and active referral partners-to support admissions and growth objectives.
  • Provide outstanding alumni support and engagement through communication initiatives, resource sharing, and coordinated alumni events.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all outreach interactions within the CRM/referral database and ensure all account information is current and complete.
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits, phone calls, and written follow-ups to primary accounts, cultivating strong, credible, and consistent relationships.
  • Monitor referral activity and admissions generated from referral partners, conducting timely thank-you outreach and ensuring referral source satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

Education:A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration, or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:Minimum of two (2) years experience in behavioral health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results. Knowledge of eating disorder, psychiatric, and mental health treatment principles preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience working with treatment center alumni or patients preferred.

Additional Requirements:Center for Change is located at the foot of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Orem, Utah.Local residency in or near Utah County is required. This position is based out of a home office. Some travel is required. Must maintain a valid driver's license.
