What You'll Do
- Review U.S. federal and foreign income tax returns and workpapers to ensure proper determination of liability as well as timely and efficient reporting
- Responsible for all international tax aspects of the consolidated U.S. tax return , including calculation of CFC's earnings and profits, Subpart F inclusions, basis calculations, foreign tax credits, income sourcing, and expense allocation
- Assist with corporate alternative minimum tax calculations and global OECD Pillar 2 reporting requirements
- Assist as needed with the preparation and review of income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including the income tax footnote and related disclosures
- Conduct tax research and draft tax technical memoranda on various federal, state and international tax issues
- Assist with modeling/forecasting tax implications of subpart F, foreign tax credits, GILTI and other similar computations
- Assist with legal entity restructuring and associated tax planning
- Assist with statutory financial review for foreign jurisdictions
- Assist with income tax audits, as needed, which includes drafting responses to internal and external requests
- Assist with managing the U.S. federal research and development credit calculation and documentation
- Work with outside vendors and internal departments on tax technology development, improvement and implementation
- Other work related tasks / ad-hoc reporting as needed
What You'll Need
- 8+ years tax accounting experience with private industry and/or public accounting
- Strong understanding of federal tax principles and exposure to international tax principles
- Extensive background in U.S. federal tax compliance. Experience with Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740) and SEC/quarterly reporting a plus
- Experience with Subpart F, transfer pricing and foreign tax credit calculations
- Experience with global businesses in U.S. tax compliance and IRS audits
- Experience working with outside service providers
- Experience with tax preparation software programs such as OneSource
- Comfortable with tax research tools
- Ability to gather, organize and analyze data
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications, particularly in Excel
- Alteryx knowledge a plus
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Team player, detail oriented, and organized
- Ability to work with minimal daily supervision
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly-changing environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax required; Master's degree preferred
- CPA is preferred
