Position Details Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) Primary Unit: PICU Floating: Will float to Pediatrics and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment (Confirm floating with traveler) Additional Float Units: Based on skill set and hospital needs Requirements Experience: Must have 2 years of PICU critical care experience with 1 year of cardiac experience. Both must be documented on skills checklist. Competency: Must be competent to care for CT patients with ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF, s/p cardiac cath and ablations, cardiac transplant, post cardiac surgery. Technical Skills: Healthcare pacemakers, Tele monitoring required. Respiratory Skills: Experience in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs required. Patient Care Patient Ratio: 1:2 (Confirm with traveler) Unit Capacity: 19 beds Certifications BLS & PALS required NRP preferred Additional Information Charting System: EPIC First-time travelers are not accepted Scrub Color: Navy Blue
