Inventory Specialist

Position: Inventory Specialist

Location: Framingham Metrowest area

Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records while supporting efficient tracking, storage, and distribution of materials. The ideal candidate brings hands-on inventory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the system.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to ensure material availability.
• Organize and maintain stock locations for optimal accessibility and efficiency.
• Prepare inventory reports and assist with audits as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations related to inventory handling.
• Support shipping and receiving operations when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field
• Experience using inventory software (ERP/MRP systems preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
