Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration and emergency response. The Quality Management Organization provides oversight of compliance activities within Electric Operations. This includes ensuring that all compliance requirements are known, there are documented processes and controls, controls are tested and effective, and that evidence of compliance exists. The department is the primary liaison with external regulators (NERC/WECC, CPUC, CAISO, etc.), manages new and changing requirements, regulatory audits, incident reporting and review, and customer complaints. The department is responsible for leading compliance improvement initiatives. Position Summary The Electric Quality Verification Distribution (QVD) Specialist conducts field assessments on PG&E's electric distribution facilities. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Position will be located within the North Region. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
