PROGRAM ASSOCIATE

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the primary function of this position is to support the effective operation, management, and financial oversight of the Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) and the department. This role bridges HTC management and financial accountability, ensuring the program meets its objectives while remaining financially sustainable and operationally efficient. The position requires strong analytical skills to assess trends and variances, providing critical insights into the financial and operational health of the HTC program and the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations and tracking HTC program progress

  • Prepare detailed financial and productivity reports for the HTC program and the Department of Pediatrics

  • Generate and submit external reports as required for the Hemophilia Treatment Center

  • Maintain the invoice database for the New York Blood Center and track reimbursements

  • Provide monthly project reports to each division, covering research and discretionary funds

  • Manage effort distribution CARTS (Clinical, Administrative, Research, Teaching, and Strategic) for the department

  • Train team members on specific tasks as needed and assist with other related duties as assigned

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and operational efficiency of the HTC program and the Department of Pediatrics, contributing to the broader success of the organization.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Health Administration (required)

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience (required)
