We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a contract assignment supporting the Old Second National Bank account. This onsite role focuses on processing returned mail and updating customer address information accurately within internal systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high-volume administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities * Process incoming returned mail (approximately 50-150 pieces per day) * Sort, open, and review documents for accuracy and completeness * Research and verify customer information within the core banking system * Update customer addresses and flag accounts for bad addresses when applicable * Prepare and send customer template letters and change-of-address (COA) forms * Re-mail documents when updated address information is available * Document customer number and date on all materials * Scan and archive documents to the departmental drive Tools & Systems Used * Microsoft Word * Jack Henry Xperience (core system) * Konica Multi-Function Device (MFD) * Excel (basic use for tracking and data entry) Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage repetitive tasks in a high-volume environment * Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred * Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools * Ability to learn and navigate internal systems efficiently Work Environment * Fully onsite role (Aurora, IL) * Standard business hours * Contract may be extended if additional work becomes available Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
