We have an opportunity for a Territory Account Representative to join our Delavan, WI team. You will focus on managing a set of authorized Distributors selling Berkeley, Myers and Sta-Rite Water Supply products and Myers Sump, Sewage & Effluent products addressing Residential and Agriculture Irrigation applications.

You will:

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to create brand preference and solicit orders.
  • Collaboratively work with Pentair contacts in sales, marketing, customer service, and/or product management to develop Distributor account personnel and provide voice of customer input within our business.
  • Attend trade shows and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies, as approved by the manager.
  • Meet sales objectives including total sales revenue, price targets, and market share growth objectives.
  • Drives sales coverage and penetration expansion through proven selling strategies and skills.
  • Promote Pentair's products & brands effectively utilizing marketing programs. As well as Distributor and end-user product training.
  • Regular travel requirement to the Distributor locations and their key customers (Dealers / Contractors), events, etc.

Key Qualifications:

  • Three or more years' experience in technical sales position to Distribution and/or Dealer networks
  • Experience with consultative sales and sales processes
  • Knowledge in the application of Water pumps and pumping equipment preferred.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities; organize, plan, and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Requires travel up to 60% of the time.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $79500 - $147600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
