General Purpose

The IT Solution Architect is responsible for Warehouse and Distribution applications and the end-to-end delivery and support of technology solutions that enable DC operations. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and leads end-to-end solution delivery through design, build, testing, deployment, and production support, coordinating with vendors and managed service partners (on-site and offshore) to deliver stable, scalable solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Translate complex business requirements into sustainable solution designs for enhancements, changes, and new capabilities, leveraging standard SAP functionality, custom development, and third-party products as appropriate.
  • Lead requirements discovery and process workshops; document solution requirements and produce high-quality functional specifications.
  • Provide solution leadership across the delivery lifecycle: design, build oversight, testing strategy (unit/SIT/UAT), cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Define and execute test plans, coordinate integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
  • Review and approve solution designs; recommend improvements to reduce complexity, improve supportability, and increase operational performance.
  • Lead process analysis and re-engineering efforts, connecting current-state issues to future-state solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders on change impacts, corrective/preventive actions, and adoption planning to minimize operational disruption.
  • Provide production support and ensure timely incident resolution; drive root cause analysis and recurring issue elimination.
  • Ensure compliance with change management, SOX controls, and cybersecurity standards; participate in access/security reviews and control validation.
  • Establish and enforce standards and best practices, including cross-functional fit-gap reviews and alignment with architecture principles.
  • Coordinate across IT teams and stakeholders to manage competing priorities and ensure delivery aligns to agreed scope and timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Required: Minimum 10 years of SAP experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, with deep Warehouse and Distribution execution expertise in high-volume operations.
  • Proven experience designing, configuring, and supporting SAP modules that directly drive warehouse and shipping execution:
    • MM (procurement and inbound execution touchpoints, material/vendor master impacts)
    • IM (goods movements, inventory adjustments, cycle counts, stock status controls)
    • WM (bin management, putaway/picking strategies, transfer orders, RF processes, exception handling)
    • SD (order-to-delivery execution touchpoints, delivery relevance, shipping point logic)
    • LE-Shipping (delivery processing, picking, packing, staging, and PGI)
  • SAP EWM experience is a plus.
  • Strong ability to own end-to-end process design and drive fit-gap decisions, balancing standard SAP capabilities vs. sustainable customization.
  • Demonstrated leadership in system delivery and operational support across the full lifecycle: design, build oversight, SIT/UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Experience supporting warehouse-related integrations and end-to-end process troubleshooting across SAP and external systems (e.g., IDoc/API/EDI/middleware; 3PL, carriers/parcel, voice/RF, route planning, automation/WCS).
  • Proven track record supporting Warehouse and Distribution solutions and business processes, including familiarity with common Warehouse and Distribution KPIs.
  • Experience in process analysis/redesign, stakeholder management, and coordinating delivery across multiple teams.
  • Ability to influence decisions across business and IT stakeholders without direct authority, driving alignment on scope, design tradeoffs, and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business leaders.
  • Highly developed collaboration skills to effectively influence internal and external stakeholders, including the Coke One North America Organization (CONA), and other software solution providers.
  • Required: Ability to travel to Distribution Centers throughout the CCSWB territory as needed and provide support during go-lives and critical operational events, including occasional after-hours/weekend coverag
